I was staring at the sky when it came to me. I jumped, the earth bounced back, like some giant trampoline. For a short time I was captain of Earth. I was part of a giant cosmic game of snooker. I peered across the horizon and stared at the ominous rising of our star, and it dawned on me that it was us moving, not it... where are we going?
and it happened...

I used to have a dream where I thought I could see all of creation and I was all tiny and there were lines zapping about and then it was all close like the universe collapsed. It didn't seem remotely spherical.
