We are in a system which enriches a small minority, but enslaves a willing majority. We all immerse ourselves with the perks - sports, gadgets, TV, films, celebrity-watching - and happily ignore atrocities that happen across the globe. Why do we ignore them? Because we don't really know about them. They are unpalatable to mainstream audiences, so we don't see them.
